Barbara has worked in the Dublin tourism industry for 15 years. She is a fully qualified Failte Ireland approved Dublin Tour Guide and an expert in Irish trivia and facts. When she’s not busy welcoming visitors to Dublin, she’s travelling the world – the Caribbean, Egypt, and Turkey are among her favourite destinations – or in the gym – she’s an avid swimmer!
Kirby is from Arizona and visited Dublin on a summer holiday six years ago. She loved it so much she never left. Studying her final year of Psychology at NUI, Maynooth Kirby loves helping out newly arrived visitors to the Dublin.. On her time off she loves trying out the multitude of new eateries that are popping up around the city – especially Japanese. Sushi fans – Kirby will tell you where to get the best sushi in Dublin.
Emily is a tourism management graduate with a passion for all things tourism! She loves Dublin for its culture and history. She especially enjoys the variety of restaurants available in the city, and also its colourful nightlife. Ask Emily for suggestions on where to go to eat and where to go to have a pint of Guinness.
Karolina is from Poland. She moved to Dublin 3 years ago after she fell in love with the Irish craic! She has a masters in History and Social Studies. In her free time she loves to play violin, watch movies and travel around Europe. She loves Irish multiculturalism and working with tourists at the Dublin Visitor Centre. She has been working for us for two years and she has a great knowledge of Dublin’s most popular attractions. Don’t hesitate to ask her a question, she will make your holidays unforgettable.
Eva moved to Dublin 3 years ago from Hungary and decided to stay after she fell in love with the city. A Tourism graduate, Eva has worked in almost every aspect of the industry working as a tour guide in the Greek Islands and Budapest. When she is not working Eva is an aerial acrobatics teacher, she likes dancing, ice skating or wandering around Dublin’s great outdoor markets. Ask her about all the hidden gems, events and organic or veggie eateries.
Cian is one of our local lads from right here in Dublin, and lives in the suburbs of the city. He has an interest in music. He also loves meeting and talking to new people and loves to recommend places to visit in and around Dublin to tourists, which is why he enjoys his job. He loves to spend time in Wicklow’s National park in the Wicklow Mountains. Cian can recommend good pubs and clubs around the city.
From the sunny Italy Giulia moved in Ireland 7 years ago to improve her english and fell in love for the country with its landscape and folklore. She studied art and architecture and always wanted to be a tour guide. In her free time she loves taking picture and travel around the green island. She can give you great suggestions about what to visit in the country and of course the best Italian restaurant and coffee in Dublin!
Recent Arts graduate and native Dubliner Katie has an expert knowledge of the city’s history and literature. Katie loves to travel and meet new people. She speaks Irish, English and French. As a self-confessed shopaholic, Katie knows exactly where to shop in the city. Ask our local cailín for the best coffee shops and cocktail bars in Dublin. When she isn’t working, Katie is a keen runner and enjoys exploring Ireland’s countryside – the Cliffs of Moher are a personal fave!
Jamie is one of our local girls born and bred in Dublin. She is very fond of the city’s night life so if you are in need of going a good pub or night club do not hesitate to ask her. Jamie is currently studying Social Science and she has been working with us for two years now. In her spare time she enjoys traveling around the world and learning about new cultures and especially about new food. She is a connoisseur of the local coffee shops so if you want to know about some hidden gems of coffee shops ask her!
Niamh is from Dublin, living only 30 minutes from the city centre. She has been working for the company since June 2015. She started working for the Dublin Visitor Centre after she finished her exams in school. On her time off her hobbies include, shopping, watching movies, she has a huge interest in make-up and loves to eat out. As she lives local she has a great insight to many of the attractions that Dublin has to offer so do not hesitate to ask questions as she will help make your holiday one to remember.
Maria Emilia Carrizo comes to us from Argentina. Her curiosity for the Celtic culture sent her packing for Ireland to study English. Maria brings with her a love of languages along with experiences as a former Spanish & Italian language teacher in to our Visitor Centre. When customers meet Maria they can easily sense her love for the city of Dublin. In her own words, ‘I just couldn’t helped it, people was very kind, music was cheerful as well as I found such a beauty in the bright green landscapes that I couldn’t leave.’ So if you are curious about the history of Dublin and its Vikings? Ask for Maria.
Vincent is from the west of Ireland. He has been living Dublin for the six years working in hospitality. He likes meeting people from different countries and learning about their culture and customs. When he is not working he likes to explore new places and rediscover old ones.
Our team member Rhona is a local girl from Dublin. She is currently studying law, sociology and the Irish language. So if you would like to learn some of our native tongue, you should come visit her. She is a part of our team for almost two years now. Some of the reasons Rhona loves Dublin is because there is always an energetic atmosphere around the city and the high level of multiculturalism keeps the place interesting. But her favourite thing is the vast amount of eateries available, whatever your budget, you’re bound to find great food and a fun atmosphere in Dublin
Darragh is another one of our local lads. Born and bred in Dublin, he has a real passion for this city and its hidden secrets. When not exploring the unique areas of the city, Darragh likes to unwind with a glass of wine and a cheese board, So therefore he is the man to see about fine dining. And yes ladies, he’s single.

She hails from the county of Mead and is known amongst the staff as an expert in anything that has to do with the Irish country side. The 2014 Graduate program offers a Graduate (Level 7 or above) the opportunity to join a fast paced dynamic company on a 12 month fixed term contract. Develop or build on your experience in planning, logistics, customer service, scheduling and on the spot problem solving! You will spend the first 9 months of the program training and working in the nerve centre of our company – the operations department.
Join the Operations team who manage the 50 vehicles and 70 drivers who work an array of diverse duties.....from city tours, scheduled day tours, scheduled orbital services, private coach hire, wedding transfers... You will become an integral part of this team and contribute daily to the successful running of the operation.

Dualway’s fleet is minimum Euro 2 low emmissions with 50% of its fleet Euro 4 or above making it one of the greenest fleets in Dublin. The Group commitment to the reduction in fuel usage has led to its acquisition of a depot close to the city centre and driver refresher courses focus closely on driving with fuel efficiency in mind with a target to reduce fuel waste by 15% per annum.
