Dakota Bar – Dublin’s Late Party Venue
The main principles behind Dakota bar are to offer the public quality food, drinks and service in a modern and chic venue. Dakota opened in June 2000 on Dublin’s South William Street. And before that, Dakota was a fabric warehouse for the nearby Grafton Street’s Switzer’s Department Store, which is now department store Brown Thomas.
Over the past decade, South William Street has flourished as a destination with plenty of hip eateries and bars opening.
During the day Dakota bar serves fine freshly made food and offers an oasis of calm in the centre of the city. At night – it’s a popular destination for drinks and rendezvouses. And at the weekend, it is a great place to party until late with some excellent music playing also.
Check out their resident DJs playing an eclectic mix of genres on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.
