  • nav-travel-icon  Travel
  • nav-food-icon  Food
  • nav-stay-icon  Where to stay

Each section is subdivided into 3 main categories that make it easy for you find a wide range of listings that meet your needs.
If you are looking for something a little more specific, click on one of the subheadings to get options that meet that particular choice.
Alternatively, you can use the search bar to search key words across the entire site.

How to search:

If you want to find an Activity, Tour or Attraction.

Click on the ‘Things to do’ tab and select which Category you like, for example ‘Tours’.
This will list all of the Tours available on the website.

If you want a more specific list click on a subheading, for example ‘Bus Tours’
You will now see a list of all the bus tours on offer and related services.

The Listing page:

Click on the  ‘Bus Tour’ that most appeals to you, I know it’s hard to pick just one. But lets select ‘Wicklow Mountains Tour’
You are now on the Wicklow Mountains Tour page.
This page includes a brief description of the tour, the tour price range, where it leaves from and the closest transport links.

You can also select the View Site button and in this case, the Book Now button.

The View Site button will open up a new browser tab and take you to website of the company offering the tour or a reputable booking agent.
The Book Now button will allow you to directly book the tour through our secure booking system.

You have the ability to click Print to print the page or Show on Map to view the listing on our map, we’ll discuss the map later.

You can also save an item to your itinerary and view it later.
The ‘Save to Favourites’ option gives you the ability to select several listings and arrange your stay based on what’s most important to you.

Click the ‘Save To Favourites’ button to save the ‘Wicklow Mountains Tour’.
Now select the ‘View my Favourites’ button in the page header.
This will take you to a page listing all of the items you have saved and the map displays just these listings.

You can add any listing on the site to Your Favourites & it=f you change your mind, it’s easy to delete the selection in the Favourites screen.

So, now you can plan your stay based on, what you want to do and how close your preferred activities or restaurant is to your hotel.
Book a hotel, arrange a morning visit to a museum or park and stop for lunch at a traditional Irish restaurant, Simple.
The Dublin Visitor Centre site will remember your favourites, so you can leave the site and come back later. (if you delete our cookie on your browser, you’ll lose your saved listings, sorry)

Have a look around and save listings that you like.

You may come across one of our little Section symbols above the main image on a page, nav-things-icon nav-travel-icon nav-food-icon nav-stay-icon this indicated a related listing. For example a Hotel that has a separate Restaurant or Bar, Click on the symbol to go to the related listing.

nav-map-icon  The Map:

The map has all of your Categories and Subheadings listed, so you can easily find places of interest or great restaurants near you. Again you can select a Category or a Subheading and all the applicable listings will appear on the map, click on a particular item to go to it’s page.

I hope this little Need Help section does just that and remember, you can email, phone or simply stop by one of the Dublin Visitor Centre shops if you need assistance with our site, your stay in Dublin or just to say hello.
