Visit Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way
Travel to the end of the world with Gray Line’s Cliffs of Moher Day Tour. Traveling to the wildest western fringe on the island of Ireland, you will spend an afternoon exploring some of the Cliffs’ 8km walkway – getting the chance to see fantastic views of Ireland’s coastline and local wildlife.
The Cliffs are home to a variety of flora and fauna, such as the Atlantic Puffin, 20 species of Seabirds and even a small number of Peregrine Falcons. Attractions also include O’Brien’s Tower which is perched on the cliff’s edge, and for all you Harry Potter fans out there, there too is a chance to see the famous cave Dumbledore and Harry visited in the movie Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (at a distance of course!).
For the more adventurous people out there, be sure to take the Cliffs of Moher Cruise to see Ireland’s greatest natural attraction in all of its entire glory!
Alternatively, stop by the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Experience (entry is included in your bus ticket) for more information on the Cliffs, including their formation and their place in Irish history & folklore. The award-winning Visitor Experience Centre features educational and interpretation facilities with a local expert always on hand to assist.
The next stop on the tour is Doolin, often referred to as ‘backpacker’s paradise’ and home to Ireland’s burgeoning surfing scene. This village is packed with things to do, making it a fantastic hub for exploring the surrounding area. Be sure to ask your driver to take you to Doolin Village. It is here that visitors can enjoy some traditional Irish food and drink.
