Join Dublin’s most colourful street festivals
Meet the spectacular collection of strong women, sword swallowers, jugglers, break-dancers and contortionists at this year’s Laya City Spectacular. This World Street Performers Championship takes place at Merrion Square and will play host to back to back street performances accompanied by the sounds of Dublin busking legends Keywest. The free City Spectacular features 150 workshops, concerts, family picnics and artisan food events in addition to the jaw dropping street performance shows.
The little ones are a big part of the Spectacular with a separate kids’ stage, childrens’ workshop and Petting Zoo, where you can laugh with a Llama or pet a Pig.In the Kids Court the tables are turned and the kids rule the roost with children aiming super soakers and pies at their parents! Other attractions for the kids include Doktor Kaboom, The Ark and learn it Lego.
If you decide to make a day of it there are some great local restaurants and bars in nearby Baggot Street.

The City Spectacular runs from 12.00 – 20.00, July 10th -12th in the heart of Georgian Dublin. Hop off at Stop 5 on the City Sightseeing Dublin Tour or take a 15 minute stroll from Grafton Street. For anyone who ever wanted to run away and join the circus the Laya City Spectacular is for you!
