The Best Events at this Year’s Dublin Pride Festival

From today to the 30th of June, you won’t be disappointed!

There is a lot of things to do during the festival period, some of them look amazing! And guess what? It’s starting today!

 

The Pride Rebel Tour

At the GPO in O’Connell Street, a special guided tour will celebrate the diversity of the women and men that took part in Ireland’s struggle for social freedom and justice on the 21st, 22nd and 28th of June!

A Queer History Tour of Kilmainham Gaol

At the Kilmainham Gaol, a special tour will focus on the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender prisoners associated with the building during the 22nd of June.

Pride Dog Show 2019

At the Cabbage Patch Park in Kevin Street, a registration will begin at 1pm on Sunday 23rd, with the show kicking off at 2.30pm. In addition to that, there will be lots of fun and games, spot prizes and great giveaways.

An Evening with David Norris

The 24th of June, at the Music Room in Christchurch Cathedral, Norris will explain his challenge to the Irish state, which led to the decriminalisation of homosexuality in the country, will speak about his life and work and what it was like to be gay in Ireland from the 1960s onwards.
