New Sustainable Christmas Shop is Coming to Dublin This Year.

The Conscious Christmas Store.

With large amounts of wrapping paper and all that unnecessary plastic packaging, Christmas is one time of year that our environment-conscious and sustainability go out the window.

So, we were very excited to find out that Dublin is getting a brand new sustainable Christmas shop this year.

The Kind, a sustainable Dublin store, and Jiminy, an eco-toy company, will work together to give us the best presents for the environment this Christmas. They are trying to help us avoid excessive amounts of packaging and environmentally friendly presents this year.

The Kind has a reputation for selling fabulous eco-friendly products such as bathroom items, kitchenware, skincare products, reusable on-the-go bits, candles and much more.

Whereas, Jiminy is known for selling incredible environmentally friendly toys, art supplies, books, wrapping paper, gift cards, reusable Christmas crackers, decorations and loads more. Their building blocks are even made from plants rather than plastic!

Still no petroleum to see here. Just plants. @BiOBUDDi is our amazing new bioplastic construction toy, and we are rather in love!⁣ ⁣ It’s made from sugarcane – specifically, the waste that’s left after the sugarcane is made into food/clothing/medicine.⁣ ⁣ And it’s made in Europe – in the Netherlands.⁣ ⁣ Just two things we’re not totally happy with and will keep working on: #1 the sugarcane is grown in South America (not on rainforest land, we checked, it’s just too far away…transportation carbon!); and #2 there’s a single-use bioplastic bag inside the cardboard box (recyclable in most places but not in Ireland).⁣ ⁣⁣ A super gift for ages 1.5 to 6 years! 5 different sets to choose from! Link in bio.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ #bioplastic #bioplastictoys #plasticfreeplay #buildingblocks #constructiontoys #sustainabletoys #sustainable #zerowasteireland #zerowastedublin #zerowaste #ipbig #plasticfree
