In 2018, 60,000 people marched and as many watched on and cheered from the sidelines. Meaning the annual parade and festival has grown from a handful of people to become of the biggest and most popular events in Ireland.
Here’s what to expect for 2019…
Dublin Pride parade is a celebration march of diversity and inclusion for LGBTQ+ people, families, friends and families. It’s an opportunity to showcase the wonderful community and advocacy groups and their supporters that work every day to make life better for the LGBTQ+ community.

The Parade is starting from O’Connell Street to Merrion Square and will pass by a lot of important places, including Liberty Hall, where the first large scale march for LGBTQ+ rights in Ireland started in 1983.
