A Valentine’s Day Céilí is Coming to Grafton Street

Relive your favourite memories while creating new ones.

Oh god. It sounds like one of them pretentious Instagram captions. Anyways, I digress; This Valentine’s event is not to be missed.

Tonight, on Grafton Street, LoSt LaNe are hosting a specially themed Valentine’s event; a Céilí party. Yes, the form of Irish folk dancing which has played its part in many Gaeltachts and Irish Colleges across the country in recent years. If you’ve been to one, you’re undoubtedly familiar with the awkwardness of an enforced Céilí.

Relive those tumultuous adolescent Summers with a Valentine’s special presented by Celtic Dance Party.

Rather than a cheap CD player,  however (this is something you won’t miss, presumably), there is a live band this time around. The band, that goes by the name of Lasta, will be performing with Louise O’ Connor on the mic. A DJ will follow this which will go on until the early hours.

I’m sure the night will be go hiontach.
